Summer In Myrtle Beach: What You Should Know

The weather is heating up here in Myrtle Beach and the tourist are flowing in! With this year expected to be our largest tourist season yet, there are a few things you should know before visiting our beautiful beaches. From knowing where to park to finding great things to do for all ages, our team here at Atlantic Real Estate Management is here to give you the low-down on what to expect!

When visiting our beautiful beaches and delicious restaurants, make sure you know where to park – so you don’t have to worry about picking your car up at a tow yard! If you’re visiting a restaurant, be sure to park in their designated parking lot. If they don’t have one, many streets in downtown Myrtle Beach have parking meters and pay-to-park lots with either an attendant or kiosk. Many of the parking meters have an app you can download so you can pay to park on your phone! Always remove valuables from your car and make sure to lock it before you leave!

With peak season fast approaching here in Myrtle Beach, the traffic is piling up! Make sure to give yourself ample travel time – especially if you’re ordering a car from a ride sharing app!

Eating Out

With the way the world has been recently, please be patient and curtious when dining at our local restaurants. Many are understaffed and overworked, but they appreciate your business! In a hurry, or just don’t want to wait? Many restaurants are still offering take-out and (in-house & 3rd party) delivery services. Trust us, good food is worth the wait!

Whether you’re from the south or like to visit from up north each year, make sure you dress appropriately! The summers are hot and humid, so you’re going to need sunscreen – or you risk having a pretty uncomfortable time!

Overall, we want you to have a blast while visiting Myrtle Beach! If you’re in need of a vacation rental, or are interested in renting out your home as a vacation rental, our team is here to help! Don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions!
