Before applying please take a moment to review our requirements and approval process and make sure you are prepared to pay the application fee when submitting your application.

Getting Started

Each adult (18 and older) will need to submit a separate application. You will need to gather a few documents to upload during the application process so make sure you have images of the following ready on your computer or device:

  • Valid Identification – State Issued Drivers License or a Passport
  • Proof of income – Pay Statements, W2 or Current Pay Check Stub

An application fee of $30 per applicant is due when you complete the application. All applications and fees must be submitted online. Make sure you meet the minimum requirements below before submitting an application; we will not be able to refund your application fee if you are not approved.

Getting Approved

The following screening process is required for each individual 18 years and older who will be occupying the property. Each applicant must meet the minimum standards for approval. Approvals for applicants that meet marginal or minimum standards may require an additional security deposit or a co-signer; the co-signer will be required to submit a separate application and will become party to the lease.

  • Atlantic Real Estate Management will acquire a credit report for each applicant. Minimum acceptable FICO score is 600. Applicants who’s score falls between 600 and 630 may be required to pay an additional security deposit or have a co-signer.
  • Atlantic Real Estate Management will conduct a criminal background check and a multi-state sex offender search. Certain convictions will disqualify applicant.
  • You must submit proof of verifiable household income equal to or greater than three times the amount of the monthly rent.
  • You must submit verifiable rental references, you should include a name, telephone number and email address for anyone you have rented from in the past two years.
  • Any past evictions will automatically disqualify applicant.
